In the Sierra this old saying is very true: “The more it takes to arrive, the more beautiful is the destination”.  And Valdelarco is a very good example of this. This mountain town is located within the greenest part of this forest area. Its landscape of orchards, valleys, and mountains of pine and chestnut trees are exceptional. The Abejaruco house is located in the heart of the town, but very close to the surrounding trails.

It’s a traditional construction of masonry, mud walls and forged logs. It has architectural details such as the arches of the central hall, the fireplace in the kitchen, several niches and hydraulic tiles in good condition. But, without a doubt, its most unique feature is the solarium that connects the living room with views on the town and the mountains covered with vegetation.

The house has a living room, three bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, hallway, laundry, and a large attic. It currently has an electrical installation, water supply and sewer system and butane gas heater, which meet the basic living conditions.

This house is the first of a series of unique projects carried out to highlight the possibilities of an intelligent renovation. In this specific case, we have chosen to highlight the longitudinal axis of the house, open spaces and focus attention on depth views.

The abejaruco house is no longer available, but you can contact us by following this link, we will be happy to show you similar houses.
