If you come to the Sierra de Aracena you may come attracted by one of their local specialties: ham. Jabugo, the town where this house is located, is the capital of the Iberian pork. Here you can taste and purchase this select product. Jabugo is also known for its microclimate which doesn’t only benefit the curing of hams, but also its inhabitants. This town is an hour and a half drive from Seville, where you can find the nearest airport.

Behind its humble facade, this beautiful house hides a large number of architectural elements typical of the region. When you cross the threshold you can instantly appreciate its rich character and history. On the left, you will see a small hallway with access to the large attic, the huge basement, and the patio. Through another larger hallway you can access 3 spacious bedrooms, from here you can see the spectacular rear view for the first time. The large window allows the house to bathe in the intense light of our southern sun. To the right of the living room is the bathroom and to the left is currently the kitchen. Some basic elements of this authentic house need to be renovated, such as electricity, the kitchen, the bathroom, and the roof. The basement offers many additional possibilities, such as game rooms, music or space for hobbies. Through the independent entrance from the street to the ground floor, you can also renovate it to rent it to tourists. This house was inhabited for years by a large family that now offers others the opportunity to come and discover the best of the region.

At inN Architecture we not only help you find the home of your dreams, but we also have the experience to carry out the necessary renovation work. Do not hesitate to contact us here for more information and, if you wish, we will visit the beautiful Focha house together.
