CENTRÍFUGA
OPEN CALL 2025/26
After a first year full of emotions, the exhibition space of La Posada de Galaroza (Huelva) has taken on a life of its own and is thinking about its second season. CENTRFUGA is the purposeful name chosen for this new cycle. Aware that the space is located in a defining cultural context, it is our intention to deepen its capacity to attract and project local and international talent.
If in its first year the leading role was played by local artists and creators, the course that will soon begin is also open to talent from beyond these mountains. Interweaving local creation with that of other environments, including urban ones. CENTRÍFUGA aims to delve into this fertile urban/rural dialectic, never better represented than in the extreme lives of St. Jerome, as Alison Smithson already pointed out.
As a novelty, the annual cultural program is divided into two cycles and the exhibitions will count with more time. Therefore, this first cycle will last from September to February and will feature three exhibitions. Both because of the theme of the cycle and the studio’s vocation, one of the exhibitions will be aimed at creators with a degree in architecture or architecture students.
The exhibitions will have a temporary period of no less than two weeks and will be open to the public on the afternoons of four working days per week. Without prejudice to the possibility of organizing guided tours after hours in coordination with the organizers. For greater clarity, these lines are accompanied by a location plan and a dimensioned floor plan of La Posada space. As well as a photographic report of the space and previous events.
The deadline for the recepction of proposals is 8:00 p.m. on August 18. They may be sent to hola@innar.es accompanied by a brief curriculum vitae, a sufficient text describing the contents and objectives of the exhibition and a maximum of five representative images with sufficient resolution.
It is important to note that the vocation of the promoters of CENTRÍFUGA, the inN arquitectura studio, is entirely altruistic and we will not request any type of commission or charge from the artist for the benefits generated during the exhibition. In any case, we will put at your disposal the space, composed of a lighted room, a dark room and a toilet, its furniture, exhibition accessories and all our means of diffusion (social media, newsletter, whatsapp community…), as well as our time and dedication to help in the assembly and disassembly.
